Here I was, the last day of my first year of high school. My year was okay. I passed all of my subjects, but barely passed Algebra and P.E. I'm not good in math and I hated running,so every time we had to run long distance, I would forget my shorts or make believe I had a sprained something.
To insure I would pass my first year, beside the mandatory classes like English and History, I took subjects like Typing, Short Shorthand and Home Economics. Next year I need to get serious and take more college prep courses like Speed Typing, Long Short Hand and Home Economics II. I have no aspirations of becoming a brain surgeon or physicist (thank goodness). Problem is, I still don't know what I want to do with myself after high school.
This past year having my brother in the same grade didn't help me at all. He had all honor classes, that he would never go to, except for finals, then he would just show up and pass the test. I hate him. Johnny was MIA for the first two weeks. He didn't have all his shots updated and his license tag was expired! After that, we kind of hung out, but not as much as we hang out at home.
Thank goodness for my friend Sam! Although she was a Sophomore, she made my Freshman year of high school tolerable. You ROCK Sam!
